A guide to finding specific species in the UK and Ireland

The RSPB British Birdfinder is a different type of site guide, if you will, in that it is not a book on birding sights and what birds you can find there, as in go here you can find this, but a guide of specific species and where to find them, as in this is what I'm looking for go here.
Each of the almost 300 species is listed in taxonomic order like a field guide. Each species has an illustration in the form of a photograph as well as how and where to find it. Each species comes with habitat illustrations, a 1-5 scale on how common it is, a month scale to show when it is likely to be found and a range map of the UK and Ireland showing distribution and its presence during migration, breeding, wintering or all year. There are also numbers on the map indicating the super sites where you are more likely to find the species.
There is a How to find section covering timing, habitat and search tips that cover which areas at what time of year are most productive and the best types of habitat to look in. This is followed by a paragraph on watching tips and clues on how to better enjoy the species you are looking for.
The book is also interjected with pages on Seabird watching, seabird colonies, rare birds and how to report them and exploring the country. This book is a great reference for anyone visiting or living in the UK or Ireland who want to go out and find a specific species missing of their list or just to find new spots to go birding.
What might be helpful in future editions is a page reference to the Collins Bird Guide to make cross reference easier.
